Imjingang Station was the first station to connect the North-South Railway and started operating on September 30, 2001 near Imjingak Resort. A sightseeing train, DMZ-Train, is operated from the station as well.

Opened on January 1, 1905, Jochiwon Station is a major hub for trains on the Gyeongbu Line. It also connects Cheongju to the other areas in Chungcheongnam-do. The station underwent expansion and a second story was built on built on May 19, 1999. The station plaza has a artworks on display and it also serves as a venue various cultural events. The station's location also made it an important transfer point for trains on the Chungbuk, Gyeongbu, Jeolla, and Honam Lines. With the continuous urban development in Sejong City and Osong City, the station is also expected to play a major role in transportation and commerce for the central region.

Sintan-ri Station, located on the Gyeongwon Line between Daegwang-ri and Baengmagoji Stations, opened on July 10, 1913. It was part of North Korean land after 1945, but was returned to South Korea in 1951. A sign labeling the station as the final station on the line was installed in 1971. With the opening of Baengmagoji Station on November 20, 2012, the station lost its title as the last station. However, many people still consider it as such, with many visitors coming to see the old sign.

Neungnae Station, located in Namyangju, was discontinued in November 2008 with the opening of Ungilsan Station. The station has been maintained as a monument, with some of the train tracks still in place. A bicycle path in front of the station connects Neungnae Station with the nearby Dasan Historic Site.

Jeongdongjin Station is known as the train station located closest to the ocean in the nation. Built in 1962, the area had as many as 5,000 people during the mining period, but decreased into a small fishing village of under 2,000 after the government's coal industry reform policies went into action. In the early 1990s the train rarely stopped at the station due to minimal passengers, but it gained popularity after appearing in the drama “Sandglass (1995)” and is also widely famous for its sunrise view. The Sunrise Train, a six-hour course from Cheongnyangni Station to Jeongdongjin Station, was added to accommodate more visitors. Other attractions nearby include Jeongdongjin Beach, hourglass tree and more.

The rest stop is located at the 38th Parallel, symbolizing the division of Korea. Gisamunhaebyeon Beach, right above the rest stop, is the place where a commemorative plaque was placed after the 38th parallel was first crossed during the Korean War. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sea from the rest stop and learn about the history of the war at the exhibition center next to the rest stop.

Incheon International Airport is one of the main transport hubs of Northeast Asia. Opened in March 2001, it was built on reclaimed land between Yeongjongdo and Yongyudo Islands. It houses the Korean Culture Museum, Traditional Culture Experience Zone, Traditional Craft Gallery, and Arrival Hall Culture Street, providing domestic and international tourists with opportunities to appreciate the richness of Korean arts and culture. The Incheon International Airport has continued to win awards ever since its opening and has been praised for its excellence, down to the last detail, some even commenting on the beauty of the lights at night reflecting on the aircrafts moored in the area. The airport is consistantly ranked in the top ten airports worldwide and was granted the title ‘Best Airport in the World’ by Global Traveler for four consecutive years. It is the second busiest airport in the world in terms of cargo and freight and one of the busiest airports in terms of international passengers.

Gapyeong Station began operations upon the opening of the Gyeongchun Line on July 25, 1939. The station was damaged during the Korean War and restored on June 12, 1957. The double-tracked Gyeongchun Line was opened on December 21, 2010. The ITX-Cheongchun Train, which includes Gapyeong Station as one of its stops, began operations on February 28, 2012 and travels along the Gyeongchun Line. Gapyeong's name was given by King Gyeongdeok of the Unified Silla Period to describe the region's natural beauty. Gapyeong and its tourist attractions, Nami Island in particular, grew in popularity after being featured in the Korean drama "Winter Sonata (2003)."
