Maesa Old house (고성 최필간고택)

Choi Pilgan Old House in Hakdong Village, Goseong, is a Gyeongsangnam-do cultural asset and has been in the Jeonju Choi family for 11 generations - that's 200 years! The house has a high stone wall, and beyond the gate house stand an anchae, a sarangchae and two other buildings, with the men's and women's spaces separated by an inner gate as per tradition. A leisurely walk round the house's time-drenched perimeter wall is highly recommended.
