Hidden Gems in Busan: Beyond Haeundae Beach
Everyone knows Haeundae Beach, but Busan has so much more to offer! Here are my favorite hidden spots:
**1. Gamcheon Culture Village**
Colorful hillside village with murals and art installations. Less crowded in the morning.
**2. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple**
Stunning seaside temple built on cliffs. Best at sunrise!
**3. Taejongdae Park**
Natural park with coastal cliffs and lighthouse. Take the Danubi train for easy exploration.
**4. Huinnyeoul Culture Village**
A quieter alternative to Gamcheon with beautiful coastal views.
**5. Songdo Beach & Cable Car**
Korea's first public beach with an amazing cable car ride over the ocean.
**6. Beomeosa Temple**
Mountain temple away from the tourist crowds. Peaceful and beautiful.
**7. Jagalchi Fish Market**
Early morning visit for fresh seafood and local atmosphere.
**Local Food Recommendations:**
- Milmyeon (cold wheat noodles) - Busan specialty
- Dwaeji gukbap (pork soup with rice)
- Fresh raw fish at Jagalchi
