Gajae Wa Gom Pension / 가재와곰펜션

This pension is located in the upper region of Heungjeong Valley in Bongpyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do. As befitting its location deep in the mountain, the Gajae Wa Gom Pension is housed in a log house with a gentle scent of wood thanks to its wooden interior. There are 4 units available for rental, with only the Hwangto Room being single-story. All other units are housed in two-story buildings. Gajae and Wa units are 116 m2-sized two-story units that have a standard occupancy of 6 and a maximum of 10. The first floor has a living room, ondol (under-the-floor heating system) room, a kitchen, and a restroom, while the second floor has a bedroom and a restroom. Gom unit is 132 m2-wide and has a bedroom on the first floor, and an attic on the second floor. It has a standard occupancy of 8 and a maximum of 12. Hwangto Room, which is heated with a traditional furnace, is a building with a maximum occupancy of 4, made out of a kitchen-living room and a restroom. All units have terraces for barbecue. Facilities on site include the valleyside bungalow, karaoke machine, and a foot volleyball field. The rest area is decorated like a cafe, and offers free coffee and tea.
